For this shoot at Cici’s Bar, the brief was to create a clean, consistent image suite that aligned with the refined aesthetic of Paul Ainsworth’s Michelin-starred No6. The bar is an extension of the restaurant’s ethos—craftsmanship, character, and elevated simplicity—and the visuals needed to reflect just that

Creative Direction

The focus was on clarity and detail, highlighting the precision of the drinks and the thoughtful design of the space. Imagery needed to feel premium without being over-styled, clean without being clinical. A restrained palette, soft shadows, and intentional use of movement brought energy and elegance together.

Approach

We used a blend of natural and artificial light to maintain consistency across all shots, regardless of time of day. Composition was kept minimal, with each image carefully balanced. Movement such as pours, sprays, and stirring was used selectively to bring life into the frame, capturing the craft and theatre of the drinks in action
